Walkin' Wise 03:20
Walkin' Wise How can a young man stay on the highway The right way, the pure way The way that leads home? There is a way that seems right in a man's eyes But too often, too late he finds he was wrong So remember your Creator while life lies before you And remember His only Son who gave His life for you And think on His law and see life through His eyes And then you'll know you're walkin' wise How can a young girl Live in a wild world A world that will leave you to die in it's maze? Charm will deceive you and beauty will leave you But God sees your heart and examines your ways So remember your Creator while life lies before you And remember His only Son who gave His life for you And think on His law and see life through His eyes And then you'll know you're walkin' wise So remember your Creator while life lies before you And remember His only Son who gave His life for you And think on His law and see life through His eyes And then you'll know you're walkin' wise ©1986 Judy Rogers

How Blessed is the Man How blessed is the man who does not listen to advice from the wicked or walk in his ways But in God's law is his delight and day and night he will meditate in it And he shall be like a tree, planted by rivers of water And he shall be like a tree, and everything he does shall prosper How blessed is the man who does not listen to advice from the wicked or walk in his ways But in God's law is his delight and day and night he will meditate in it And he shall be like a tree, planted by rivers of water And he shall be like a tree, and everything he does shall prosper How blessed is the man who does not listen to advice from the wicked or walk in his ways But in God's law is his delight, and day and night he will meditate in it Oh the Lord knows all His righteous ones, and the way of the righteous will flourish Yes, the Lord knows all His godly ones, but the way of the wicked will perish Yes, the way of the wicked will perish How blessed is the man who does not listen to advice from the wicked or walk in his ways But in God's law is his delight, and day and night he will meditate in it And he shall be like a tree, planted by rivers of water And he shall be like a tree, and everything he does shall prosper!! ©1986 Judy Rogers

Be Like Him! 04:40
Be Like Him (Be Holy for I am Holy) I was asked to hang around with some friends after church And I reluctantly sat in the crowd And soon I heard above the noise The youth director's voice Callin' my name clear and loud He said, "We want to get a good discussion goin' tonight To see if everybody understands So Jenny - can you tells us what God requires If we belong to Him?" And I said, "I try to be good I go to church - when I feel like it Remember - nobody's perfect And I'm as good as the next man And it's good to know that God's gonna take me to heaven if I, if I do the best that I can." My knees grew weak and my eyes began to blur as everybody sat and stared And then a young man with compassion in his eyes Read from Psalm 50 and I knew he was wise when he said, "You know a lot of people have their own ideas of what God is like and how we should live But our authority is God's word alone. If we want to know what to believe You see, you thought God was just like you willing to wink at sin but He tells us plainly in His word that we must be like Him. For He says, 'Be holy for I am holy Pursue holiness and peace or you won't see the Lord.' 'Be holy for I am holy Pursue holiness and peace or you won't see the Lord.' It's not by our own righteousness but by grace through faith we are saved But if you love the Lord you're gonna keep His commands and He'll give you the strength to obey." I walked away that night a different girl for I finally realized that all my attitudes and my ideas were nothing but self made lies So if you find that you're a lot like me you'd better take this advice my friend You'll lose your soul with your imaginary god Find out how to be like Him For He says, 'Be holy for I am holy Pursue holiness and peace or you won't see the Lord.' 'Be holy for I am holy Pursue holiness and peace or you won't see the Lord.' It's not by our own righteousness but by grace through faith we are saved But if you love the Lord you're gonna keep His commands and He'll give you the strength to obey." 'Be holy for I am holy Pursue holiness and peace or you won't see the Lord.' 'Be holy for I am holy Pursue holiness and peace or you won't see the Lord. Or you won't see the Lord. Or you won't see the Lord.' ©1986 Judy Rogers

City Streets 04:21
City Streets I walked the city streets last night Cold and lonely under the neon lights And a lady followed close behind me Tracing every step as I moved on blindly And as I made my way into a devil's den This lady called my name and cried out, "Don't go in!" And she said, "Wisdom is my name and I bring you this warning: If you don't follow me tonight, you may not live to see the morning light." And she said, "How long, Oh you who are so naive How long will you turn from me? For I will keep you from wicked men and from the wayward woman's path For all the roads that take you to them lead you down to death! Oh, they lead you down to death." And suddenly I recognized her She kept me in my childhood, how could I despise her? And then my foolish eyes were opened And everything was clear when the truth was spoken And wisdom is far better than the purest gold For she will guard your life and she'll protect you soul And she keeps callin' out, "Oh, you are so naive, How long will you turn away from me? How long, Oh you who are so naive. How long will you turn away from me? Don't turn away…Don't…, don't turn away…turn… Don't turn away from me…away… Don't turn away…Don't…, don't turn away…turn… Don't turn away from me…away… Don't turn away. ©1986 Judy Rogers

The Sun Rises The sun rises everyday And in the evening it goes down, goes down There's nothing new in it's way It's just the same old world spinnin' round, spinnin' round But I was looking for change in my life Some new color for the shades of gray I wanted pleasure for my body and mind Anything to gratify, satisfy, satisfy So I tried silver, I tried gold I tried wine, women and song Anything my eyes desired But it didn't take me long to see that everything was meaningless Chasing after wind For Jesus is all in all Life is empty without Him! The sun rises everyday And in the evenin' it goes down, goes down There's nothing new in it's way It's just the same old world spinnin' round, spinnin' round Too many years I've wandered day after day Looking vainly for some lasting pleasure Then God had mercy and He gave me new life Now I know real love and joy without measure! But I tried silver, I tried gold I tried wine, women and song Anything my eyes desired But it didn't take me long to see that everything is meaningless Chasing after wind~ But Jesus is all in all Life is empty without Him! The sun rises everyday And in the evening it goes down, goes down. © 1986 Judy Rogers

The King's Daughter I was talkin' to my brother just the other day And he said, "Sis, I've got somethin' to say I guess I've learned a lot in sixteen years And one thing lately is really clear You know some of those girls that go to my school? Well, they must take me for a fool And if you've got just a little time I'll tell you what's on my mind." And he said, "I know a lot of pretty girls Flirtin' around in this old world They always wear the latest styles And fill your eyes with shallow smiles But I've been tryin' to find her The way that God designed her A lady with beauty that won't fade Oh, the King's daughter is all glorious within Her clothing is of the finest gold She has a loveliness inside of her that shines from in her heart A beauty of the spirit and the soul! I met a girl that I adore I don't remember what she wore But in her spirit she was clothed in her Father's finest robes She spoke about her Saviour And servin' Him forever And as we talked I could plainly see She was the King's daughter And she was glorious within Her clothing was of the finest gold She had a loveliness inside of her that shone from in her heart A beauty of the spirit and the soul. I wouldn't trade this friend of mine For all the riches you could find For glamor queens will soon grow old And all that glitters is not gold And I thank my Creator That in His plan He made her A lady with a beauty that won't fade! Oh, the King's daughter is all glorious within Her clothing is of the finest gold She has a loveliness inside of her that shines from in her heart A beauty of the spirit and the soul. King's daughters are hard to find Keep your eye on her! © 1986 Judy Rogers

My Life is Flyin' by Me My life is flyin' by me Like a jet plane through the sky I never knew what life will hand me What's the plan; what will the plan be? My mind was goin' crazy Spinnin' in a whirlwind maze I didn't know which way to turn Or if there's any truth to learn But God - shattered the darkness And shone His bright light Into my heart and soul And God - broke off the slavish chains of fear Gave me a new hope and made me bold Gone are the fears, and gone the tears And all the years of spinnin' wheels And getting nowhere, nowhere, nowhere Is your life flyin' by you Like a jet plane through the sky You never know what life will hand you What's the plan; what will the plan be? Is your mind goin' crazy Spinnin' in a whirlwind maze? You do not know which way to turn Or is there any truth to learn? May God - shatter your darkness And shine His bright light Into your heart and soul May God - break off your slavish chains of fear Give you a new hope, and make you bold Today's the day, don't turn away God will forgive your sin And take away your sorrow Don't hesitate, it's not too late You have no promise you will ever see Tomorrow, tomorrow, May God - shatter your darkness And shine His bright light Into your heart and soul May God - break off your slavish chains of fear Give you a new hope, and make you bold ©1986 Judy Rogers

The Time of My Life Time, from the beginning Filling the moments and days I have a lifetime before me And I will take the time that remains And I will praise the God of all the ages For giving the meaning to life And by God's grace, my moment in history Will help to build the kingdom of Christ And I'm havin' the time of my life Making the most of every moment Knowing the future lies before me Living today to give God glory And I'm havin' the time of my life Knowing my times are in His hands And with the saints who've gone before me On His word I stand For from Him, and through Him And to Him, are all things To Him be the glory forever and ever For from Him, and through Him And to Him, are all things To Him be the glory forever Amen, Amen ©1986 Judy Rogers
